An alternative audio tour of a Lake District market town

The project explored the area's industrial heritage both past and present through a series of experimental sound recordings. This was done with the participation of the local community, through a series of artist-led workshops during August and September 2008. The project was  launched as part of the Cumbria-wide annual arts festival FRED and has developed into a permanent community facility.
